We are the fine grading experts.
With our combined experience of over 50 years, we are the experts when it comes to Fine Grading. Our Laser Graders utilize a dual slope laser capable of fine grading flat pads for buildings (slab on grade) as well as pads with designed slopes, such as tennis courts and truck dock pads. Our latest edition is a state of the art 3-D robotic total station controlled system that is capable of Fine Grading surfaces with unlimited amounts of slopes, such as parking lots, parking decks, running tracks, ball fields of all types, and all types of paving. We can control your water drainage using the latest computer software that detects the problem areas before we ever start grading!
Let us save you time and money.
Our Laser Graders with a one-man crew can replace a typical five man crew that use a loader, rakes, and laser rods, and finish up to ten times more area in a day’s time at a tolerance that is unmatched. Reduced time on the job + Reduced use of material + Reduced labor = Cost savings.
Let us be your ‘check and balance’ on materials use. When we sub-grade your pad before the stone is placed, the amount of stone that you use can be figured within a couple of tons! Over a large pad, those savings alone can pay our bill. If we can obtain a finish grade that is just 1/8” closer than it would have been without using us, then the cost savings in concrete more than pays our bill. Anything beyond that 1/8”, we are actually putting money back in your pocket!
Example:
A typical building pad that is 50,000 sq. ft. with a 4” concrete slab uses approximately 617 cubic yards of concrete. At just 1/4” of overage in concrete, you would use 656 yards of concrete. At $100/yd., that equal $3900 of extra expenses. If you take it one step further, and we can provide a 3 7/8” finished product, that is a difference of 59 yards of concrete, or $5900. Even after paying our bill, you would still put $3400 back into you pocket. Even if we give you a full 4” slab, you are still saving $1400 and get the grading for free! Include the savings in time (we can finish 50,000 sq. ft. in less than a day’s time) and reduced labor, and it doesn’t make sense not to use us.
